As a Technical Project Manager / Integration Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing integration projects, ensuring seamless communication between APIs, databases, and external systems.
You will work closely with development teams, stakeholders, and clients to drive the successful execution of integration initiatives. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to balance architectural decisions with performance, security, and effort considerations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Integration Projects – Oversee the end-to-end execution of integration initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business needs.
- Collaborate with Development Teams – Work closely with engineers to define integration strategies, troubleshoot issues, and optimize implementation.
- Stakeholder Communication & Negotiation – Clarify integration approaches, align expectations, and negotiate the best technical solutions from architecture, performance, security, and effort perspectives.
- API & Database Integration – Ensure smooth interaction between systems, managing API integrations and database connections effectively.
- Task Assignment & Execution Management – Organize and prioritize tasks within the team, ensuring efficient workload distribution and timely completion.
- Monitor Integration Quality – Establish and maintain quality standards, conduct reviews, and oversee troubleshooting processes to ensure robust and secure integrations.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in technical role in software development (Technical project manager, Integration manager, Developer, Technical coordinator, Technical Support).
- Proven track record of leading technical projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
Technical Skills:
- API Integration & Architecture: Strong understanding of API design and integration techniques, Hands-on experience with tools such as Postman or similar
- Data Handling & Formats: Proficiency in working with JSON, XML, CSV, and other data exchange formats.
- Database Experience: Knowledge of SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle etc).
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in identifying and resolving integration issues.
- Project Coordination: Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead teams effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate fluently with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Development Knowledge: General understanding or basic experience in software development.
- Project Management Tools: Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
